CricLens is an independent cricket analytics project focused on making ball-by-ball data easier to explore and understand.
What CricLens does
CricLens turns historical T20 ball-by-ball data into descriptive team and competition analytics, historical match scorecards and neutral player probability distributions.
The product currently covers men's and women's T20 cricket across franchise, domestic and international competitions. Coverage varies by competition and depends on the underlying source data available at the time of each refresh.
Analytics first
CricLens is designed as an analytics product, not a tipster service. It does not publish bookmaker odds comparisons, betting picks, return-on-investment claims or guaranteed outcomes.
Team metrics describe what has happened historically. Player projections are model estimates and are kept conceptually separate from descriptive team analytics.
Data and methodology
Historical ball-by-ball and match data are derived from Cricsheet. Player identity/name mappings use the Cricsheet Register, made available under the Open Data Commons Attribution License (ODC-By 1.0). Fixture data is maintained separately and may not be available for every competition until schedules are published and imported.

Independent project
CricLens is not presented as an official website of any cricket board, league, team or data provider. Team, competition and player names are used for identification and analytical context.
